He ( an old man ) is looking backward at his life though a photo. A memory of his family , and e is nostalgic about the happier times that he has lived before the .....(war , apocalypse) . He recalls his wife , that now is no longer with him , and his son , that is out there fighting for him.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis photo is very unique. I have read many stories about old men sitting in his chair and staring a photo of happier times. I have also seen videos and photos of that. But this photo is executed very well. The photo has been aged nicely and the coloring of the background draws the looker to the work and age ravished hands and the faded photo. The feelings in this image is sad but happy at the same time, a feeling of lost moments. My only suggestions to this photo would be to fix the lighting of the hands more so that they fit better into the photo and to fade the color around the photo so it is not so red. Other than that, the image is amazing and very well done!
